Abstract

Adrian woke up still feeling very drowsy

He looked around, he seemed to be in a garden

He was surrounded by flowers. They were

Paper flowers. Bright paper flowers

"Is this a dream?" he thought...

The wind was softly whispering in his ears

As if singing a lullaby

Lulling him back to sleep

Unable to control himself, he lay back...

Through the trees he could see

A colourful sky -

A wonderful abstract of hues 

of reds, greens and blues...

And then it began to rain

the raindrops were calling out to him

"Adrian... Adrian...

You do not belong. Leave before you're taken!!"

Adrian got up, slowly walking

He didn't want to leave this place

He'd never been so peaceful in his life...

And then there was this noise

A disembodied voice

like metal grating over metal

Speaking to him,

"Adrian, You're mine to claim"

Adrian began to run

as fast as he could

but a shadow was creeping up to him

a black shadow with a human head...

But...
